About the Role

The selected candidate will work on digital forensic investigations and data analytics, with responsibilities spanning digital evidence examination, incident analysis, online monitoring, OSINT and technology-driven forensic solutions.

The position reports to the Manager – Forensics, E&I.

Key Responsibilities

The Junior Manager- Digital Forensics will be responsible for:

• Collecting, preserving and analysing digital evidence from computers, mobile devices, cloud storage and other sources.
• Using industry-standard digital forensic tools and techniques to conduct investigations.
• Preparing technically accurate and detailed forensic reports.
• Developing data-analysis dashboards and reports to identify trends, patterns and anomalies associated with potential brand misuse.
• Following relevant SOPs, frameworks and guidelines based on ISO 17025 and ISO 27001.
• Monitoring online channels for potential brand infringement, counterfeiting and unauthorised activities.
• Researching and implementing Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence solutions for digital forensics.
• Reviewing alerts generated through Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools and analysing potential incidents involving data loss.
• Conducting Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) investigations when required.
• Supporting incident-response activities in coordination with relevant internal teams and external consultants.

Educational Qualification

Applicants should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of digital forensic principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in at least one digital forensic tool, such as EnCase, FTK or Autopsy.
• Exposure to programming languages relevant to Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to investigations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Experience Required

Candidates should have at least 3 years of technical experience, preferably in digital forensics or related areas such as incident response or security analysis.
