Mishra Law School, Lucknow, is organising an International Seminar on Forensic Science and Law in the Age of Artificial Intelligence, bringing together perspectives from forensic science, law, criminology, cybersecurity, medicine, psychology and technology. The seminar will examine how Artificial Intelligence is transforming forensic investigation, evidence analysis and criminal justice, while also addressing emerging concerns relating to privacy, algorithmic bias, admissibility of AI-generated evidence, accountability, explainability and data governance. About the Opportunity The Digital Forensics Conference Europe 2027 (DFRWS Europe 2027) invites researchers, practitioners, academics, industry professionals and students to contribute original work advancing the field of digital forensics. The conference will bring together the international digital forensics community to discuss emerging technologies, methodologies, tools and challenges in digital investigation and digital evidence. Areas of Interest Submissions are welcome across a broad range of digital-forensics topics, including: • AI-assisted digital forensics • Digital forensic analysis of AI models • Cloud and virtual environment forensics • Mobile and embedded-device forensics • Cryptocurrency investigations • Digital evidence and the law • Digital forensic tool validation • Memory acquisition and analysis • Malware and incident-response forensics • Network and distributed-system forensics • Multimedia and deepfake forensics • Anti-forensics and counter-anti-forensics • Vehicle and IoT forensics • Digital forensic readiness and preparedness • Forensic data analysis and visualisation • Digital investigation and case management Submission Categories Full Research Papers Original research contributions will undergo double-blind peer review and may be published in the conference proceedings. Selected articles may also be considered for publication in a special issue of Forensic Science International: Digital Investigation. (DFRWS) Presentations & Demonstrations Practitioners and researchers can submit approximately 500-word proposals for presentations, demonstrations, industry research, tools, case studies or emerging forensic practices. Posters Researchers can present ongoing research, preliminary findings and emerging work through the conference poster session. Workshops Proposals for 2–4 hour hands-on workshops covering specialised digital-forensics tools, techniques and research areas are also invited. Digital Forensics Doctoral Symposium DFRWS Europe 2027 will also host the Digital Forensic Doctoral Symposium (DFDS 2027), providing doctoral researchers with an opportunity to present early-stage research, receive feedback and connect with the international digital-forensics research community. Student Opportunity DFRWS also offers a Student Scholarship and Award Program.
